  He is just a simple man, making simple music in a simple way. I think the reason they are so "atonal" or experimental is he just goes with his heart a lot rather then reflecting on how a song should sound. There are a lot popular bands, Throbbing Gristle, comes to mind that make a lot more unlistenable music then simple old Jandek. "There is nothing to get" - I think this captures it.

  this has to be some of the worst music I have ever heard..I mean, am I missing something here?? Im all for experimentation and being artsy and what not..But this just seems like a joke to me..Or the sound of a profoundly disturbed man..
