  • First metal ablum you bought.

The first metal album I bought was actualy not realy an album, I bought Ozzy Osbourne - "prince of darkness" 4 disc set. I was 13 and I wanted something diferent to listen to. From that moment I have been adicted to metal.

If something is shit, just speak up and say it is!

My first metal album was Segundos Fuera by Obus (it is a spanish heavy metal band from the 80s). My mother bought this album because she listened to metal groups when she was young and when I listened the cd I thought: What awesome music!!

    (sorry for my bad English)

Judas Priest - The Best Of Judas Priest: Living After Midnight
I was 13 and the boys in school always listened to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. I didn't like it in the beginning but after a while I learned to like it and I'm thankful for that now. :)

Well, if my memory isn't failing this time my first legal metal album was probably Machine Head - Supercharger. Well, it isn't the best for sure, but I feel some kind of sympathy towards this CD.

Must've either been Oceanborn by Nightwish or Wishmaster.
I can't exactly remember which though.. I bought one of them first, and then the other haha.

Probably Within Temptation's "The Heart Of Everything", then "Once" by Nightwish.

I've been a metallica fan since I can remember, even when I still listened to crappy hip hop and top 40 music. Luckily I didn't buy cds back then. When I started buying cds (only since 2003) my first three purchases were Metallica's 'S&M', 'Garage Inc' and 'Metallica' (the black album)

    Damn, I'm so not sure...

I just clearly remember buying Cannibal Corpse - Bloodthirst which was definitely one of the first cds I owned back then.

    Resistance is futile.
  • I think it was Nightwish - Once =) I was 12 years old when I bought it. My metal taste has evolved pretty much from that I think.
