Many a nights ago you stumbled upon last.fm when you should of been studying for your end of semester exams. Curiosity got the better of you and you made an account on a whim.

Fast forward some arbitrary amount of time, you realise; that last.fm is pretty cool, that your username-made-on-a-whim is crap with no creative flare and that you have a serious addiction problem.

The thought of having a new username requires a new account and hence, losing all your scrobbles. You weigh up the options, the positive and the negatives - and on that notion, you come to the conclusion that you're better off keeping your shitty username.

When I signed up to last fm, I was a big Michael Jackson fan, that's why my name has been Superfly-Susie. But now, I would really, really like to change it, without losing my page. And my name would be something which is connected with my real name.

I thought, I would be a real sucker because my classmates didn´t want to listen to me. But later I realized I am not, I am just different. I had an account before and didn´t like my music library any more, so I created a new account. I have more scrobbles at a shorter amount of time now& really like my radio. So it isn´t a big loss. But I hate my fucking username.

I deleted my last account, I still regret it to this day. I had over 50k plays and ive lost touch with a load of music since I did that. I'm not happy with my current username either, I'd rather have it minus the --.

Joined! And I need to explain myself... Mine came from... God, wish I could know. The first part is obvious, second is the abbreviation of my name. But I was 17 YEARS OLD, not 13 >.< Good to see I'm not alone and we're all ashamed of our usernames :D

Mine's pretty terrible. I was young and really into trashy pop-rock/pop-punk. I want to be able to change it. Like Becky said you should be able to at least change it once.
