Nobody should tell you what you have to listen to, what sucks and what not. Taste is a personal thing. If you like a song, it's because that song makes you feel something. It moves you. That's it....

So you're tired of people bashing artists in their shoutboxes - and bullying you about what is music and what is not? Join us! We have a very active message board and a great and friendly community with a wide range of music preferences!

Nobody should tell you what you can or cannot listen to.
Nobody should tell what sucks and what not, cause nothing sucks: taste is a personal and subjetive thing.
If you like a song, it's because that song makes you laugh, cry, dance, jump, shout...etc. That song makes you feel something. It moves you. That's it, that's what matters.

We are another "hate" group, but we actually don't hate anyone. Look at our ostrich pouting: isn't she cute? ;)

Yes, metalheads are definitely the worst I've seen when it comes to music snobbery. And I agree with Thizzia. A person can state a dissenting opinion without sounding like an ignorant asshole. I really, really don't see the point in going out of one's way to hate on a band. There's no practical reason I can come up with to do it. I'm genuinely curious to hear these haters' logic for doing what they do because I can't come up with anything logical after pondering. If music (or someone's taste in music) or some other form of entertainment is all they have to hate on, I envy them. There are much worse things in the world that are more deserving of hatred.

not meaning to sound bias or anything but it is generally the metal fans who are the ones bashing other peoples music tastes. look on nirvana's shoutbox for example. nearly all the haters are metalheads

I think it's OK to say that you don't like a band in a shoutbox, but it's not ok to insult, bully or attack the band nor the fans of it. You can just give your opinion in a proper manner, don't you? Without hurting anyone.

I hate it when all of these metal-heads say "Oh, this band sucks". I mean when they grow up they'll soon see that the bands that they like really do suck. I mean anyone who leaves negative comments on another artists shout-box or video on YouTube seriously has mentally retarded issues.
