It tells you which users share the same top-tracks and top-artists. It is a alternative to the boring group charts. _Tarkus_ Group Owners membership requires that you lead at least one group of your own. If you belong to many groups, but none show you as group leader on your profile page, let me know of any one group you lead. I don't have time to sift through a ton of groups to confirm you're a group leader, so you'll probably get rejected if I don't see it on the first page or two.

musinum I have an issue that's probably faced by those who lead a large numberf of groups... I have 18 with a lot of overlapping membership. When I start a new group I've found it grows very quickly if I message the members of my existing groups (as just one tool). I've seen empty groups have 40 members overnight this way. The problem is that now that I have 18 groups, messaging all of them (about big changes to a group as well as new groups) means that some people get 8 or 10 identical messages. Is there a way to create a merged list so that nobody gets dupes? Manually won't work well as combined membership is in the low four figures. Ideas?

Cool! I believe that has the added benefit of linking your group to the user's default language also, instead of hard-coding it to your own language. So whereas you probably see www.lastfm.es, I see www.last.fm. I could be wrong about that, but I think that's the way it works.

The forum acts as its own FAQ, but better, because if you need clarification on the answer to a question, there's a place for dialogue. I think it's the best of both worlds.

Thanks again for your comments. The forum doesn't get a lot of action these days, but comments like yours suggest a lot of that is because there is already a lot of info there. Someone once suggested a FAQ, but it seems the forum fills the role quite nicely.

I just want to tell group owners that the advertisement thread is working. I've joined several groups because of it. Also, thanks so much for the "invitation" idea in the "promoting your groups" thread. My group is growing because of it. I can't say enough how much I appreciate this group. . . . And i wonder if i could just use the word "group" a few more times in this shout. :-)
