I enjoyed N64 version. I liked the atmosphere they gave it mostly. It had it's creepy moments.

I can't speak for Daikatana and Trespasser given that I've played neither (though I hear loveley things), but of the FPS's that I have played I enjoyed Farcry the least. Perhaps there's something wrong with me? Or are a couple of us in agreement that it was overrated?

There's a thing... Are consoles suitable at all for FPS games? I enjoyed HL2 and DooM 3 on the XBOX but it was plainly obvious they were made easier than the PC versions to accomodate the clunkiness of the controller.

I never could get into Deus Ex on the PS2 (Although Quake 2 on the PSX was fun..) Perhaps I should give it another try since I got on so well with HL2 on the other console :)

The first was good but the second sequel was a sh..!. First one the protagonist moves like he is on a F1 car xD and thats useless becasue for some jumping tricks you need acuraccy and with this speed you canno't have it so much, and if you try to walk Caleb seem's like he has somthing holding him down xD and its useless because the enemy's allways, ALWAYS CATCH YOU!!, bullets, fireballs o anything and allways do headshot, they never fail including if they are using machineguns (Of course slow fireballs can be avoided). The most worst aspect of the game is the weapons. Ho yea! There are almost 15!! you need to drop some to check it all but... The pistol does more damage than the NAPALM CANNON??? O_o really, if you shot a eavy enemy with the napalm cannon, howitzer or something explosive and you hit him RIGTH IN THE FACE!!...does less damage than with the pistol. Pheraps i'm exaggerathing a little but when you shot a blast of something explosive you expect that they will be splattered and burned instantly.no?...You need 5 blasts of napalm cannon to kill a medium monster xD when in the firs game (good game, every FPS player should play it) a blast like that usually kill all in his radious of action. Ho yes and you are extremely weak! Full health+full armor and some bullets and you are at 14% of health XD and all monsters catch you allways!! imgaine... ^^

Dude, Dark Forces was siiicckkkk! I frikkin hate Halo 3. Nothing was new to it. It was just a shinier Halo 2. Lame ass game.

Whomever stated that Shogo is the worst FPS is in serious denial. To be sure, it wasn't THE best FPS ever, but it was playable, and fun at that. I sure as hell found it more enjoyable than, say, Haze. For instance.

Someone else mentioned the MoH series. Again, I have to disagree. I had a blast when they came out on the PS1 and PS2. From Pacific Assault onwards the series went downhill, imo.
