Welcome to the group.

I found the United Devices site whilst looking for a similar thing, but for SETI (Search for Extra-Terstrial Intelligence). My Aunt had died of Pancreatic Cancer a few month before so I decided to download this instead of the SETI one.

My friends father also died of the same cancer and my Uncle has recently been diagnosed with Testicular Cancer.

Yeah, I've been meaning to put something in my sig. and I see you've put a bit about it in your About Me section, so I've done that as well.

Yeah, just joined. My father died from colon cancer four years ago, so yeah. Sounds like a purposeful group.

I'm not sure. Click to join our team and see what happens.

If you get moved out of the other team or something like that, then you can go back to it by re-joining that one, but if nothing happens then you'll be fine.

My girlfriend suffered of cancer the whole year 2006.

I noticed when I finished my first post-joining-here WU. Though I hadn't been on a team before this, so I kind of hoped it might.

Apparently they count all of the people who haven't joined teams as a team, though. :scratches head:

Thank you for this group. My mother died to liver cancer just quite a while. I've been able to talk (or either write) about it just now. It's been such a difficult time, we never thought we'd lost her. Thank you guys and well, I support your cause. :)

I had no idea there was a similar thing like SETI@Home for cancer research (well, protein folding, but ok...), so I'm glad I found this group. Every little bit helps I hope.

I'm a Hodgkin's survivor myself.

when i was two years old i was diagnosed with leukemia & i had to go through chemo therapy for four years but thankfully i never relapsed and i am now a surviour. My grandmother had breast cancer & my father had testicular cancer but thankfully they are still both here today too.

i am blessed and greatful for modern medicine though i'm very sorry for those of you who have lost love ones & i'm glad to hear that you: swervedriver are a survivor yourself :)
