  America does shine in true black metal, but since people are ignorant they will continue to say that Americans don't know how to do good BM despite that they never really tried to explore the US scene. And then we get another definite truth. Most of those people aren't even aware of Von or Demoncy.

  @ eternalhangover, Wolves in the Throne Room is good music, regardless of whether or not you consider them a "hippie" band. Not much New England Black Metal up here either. Cold Northern Vengeance, Falls Of Rauros, Abaroth, Witch Tomb, Trident, etc.
