  Amarok 2.5 has scrobbling fixed. And runs very nice :)

  just downloaded Amarok because Rhythmbox and Banshee couldn't find the track info for my CD, Amarok seems to work great but the tracks aren't scrobbling to Last from CD play :-(

  I'm happy, got 1.4 working again on Ubuntu 11.10. Anybody looking for a solution: http://skerit.com/computer/installing-amarok-1-4-on-ubuntu-11-10-64bit-oneiric-ocelot/ (64bit AMD) or http://koetjeboeh.nl/2011/11/amarok-1-4-op-ubuntu-11-10/ (i386, in dutch).

  For those who might want to keep on using Amarok 1.4, you might want to take a look at Trinuty a fork of KDE 3.5. I'm using it at it's been awesome so far http://www.trinitydesktop.org/

  This is the only player on my laptop (an Asus Eee 4G) and it works great! Got no complaints, and it's good for enjoying my music collection!

  i have to say it's really a nice player, i used to use rhythmbox and now i can say it's wiser to use amarok

  All those players with extensive playlists (like iTunes, Songbird, Clementine, old Amarok) are just wasting space on my screen. Amarok (2) uses it much more efficient. Amarok 2 was indeed quite a leap, but I really like it.
