This group is for people who are addicted to Death Metal.

You can be open-minded but Death Metal comes first and your charts prove you right.

The primary aim of this group is to have the most brutal group charts on Last.fm, so if you know anyone here who listens to the most vile, disgusting and truly brutal music around, refer them here.

In order to join you should have:

- 20 artists and 1000 plays scrobbled
- 70% Death Metal in your overall Top 10 or your last 12 months Top 10 (7 of 10 bands)
- 60% Death Metal in your overall Top 20 or your last 12 months Top 20 (12 of 20 bands)
- No Deathcore, Metalcore or Emo in your overall Top 10
- No NSBM in your Top 20 at all. This is a group for death metal; not for poser wannabe-Nazi bullshit.

*NEW* As of February 2012, grindcore bands/artists may contribute to applicants' chances of acceptance. Previous applicants who have been unsuccessful should consider re-applying if there is death metal and grindcore in their charts.

Note: Preventing the group charts to get overrun by popular Melodic Death Metal, here this sub-genre doesn't count as Death Metal.

Musical taste can change, so you can get kicked from this group. But you can always apply and join the group again.
