    Artist You Love The Most

Tell about artist you love the most now whatever may be the reason it would be awesome if you could share the reason.

For me it's Carpenters and it's no surprise that Karen's beautiful voice is the reason i love them most and i could hear them for ages !!!!!!!

    Melissa Manchester :-)

Melissa's got an awesome voice, sings a wide range of songs, but regrettably isn't as publicised as the usual female vocalist artists because she's far better!

Yay also for Karen! And Jerney Kaagman, Tarja Turunen, Amy Lee, Diana Ross, Annie Haslam, Cathy Dennis, Liv Kristine, Melanie C, Mari Wilson, Sharon den Adel, Mariah Carey, and Madonna... (Yes I know I've got a mix of genres in there)

    Papa Roach

Why? Because they're awesome and the lead singer is quite greezy too.

+ Fozzy because the lead singer can dance the quickstep like nobody's business. \m/

  • Several artists are my favorite, can't really pick one out of all these:
Ride, Oasis, Stone Roses, Blur, Pulp, and Lush to name a few. I don't really have a favorite. I guess Oasis because they made a lot of excellent tracks

  • Kyuss

    best rock music ever made

  • I know theres already about 76 Billion of these 'favorite artist' threads already, but Current 93 makes me come buckets.

i could tell you the reasons, but it would be pointless.

  • Hüsker Dü

Changed my life when I was 16, and still relevant after all these years.
I've never heard that much raw emotion in music.

  • The Answer at the moment because they are a great band and they are from Northern Ireland like me.

Oh, shed a tear for the loss of innocence, for the forsaken spirits who aches... in us. Cry for the heart who surrenders to pain, for the solitude of those left behind!

Ben Gibbard. I love his voice! and he's an amazing songwriter. He's also pretty cute too.

He can pretty much cover any song and it'll be good.

  • Dave Matthews for his passion, his sense of humor, his passion, his humanity, his humbleness, his passion. Did I mention his passion?

  • Chad Kroeger

"Sometimes you have to confront your own patterns and expectations of yourself and do away with things that you enjoy doing in order to move forward and keep evolving as a musician. That's exactly the definition of the word progressive of course."

    city and colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gene Vincent, the first and wildest rocker. His music just blew me away, tracks like "Bi-Bickey-Bi-Bo-Bo-Go", and "Hold me, hug me, rock me."
He could also slow it down, and his 1956 version of "Unchained melody" Is pure class. I could go on all day about the man, so I'll stop here.

    Venetian Snares

because he is good at playing with Renoise

  • Probably Hecq. He's got some of the most amazing, emotionally haunting atmospheres ever found in audio production.

    Example - 0011

I'm loving The Gaslight Anthem :D
