Squeezescrobbler plugin does not work with latest Squeezebox Server (7.6.0)

Squeezescrobbler plugin does not work with latest Squeezebox Server (7.6.0)

Yesterday I upgraded to Squeezebox Server 7.6.0 (on Ubuntu linux). On restarting the server, Last.fm was no longer available under internet radio. On checking the Plugins page, I saw the message 'plugin failed to load' for Squeezescrobbler.

Will there be a new release of Squeezescrobbler that works with Squeezebox Server 7.6.0? In the interim, I have reverted my server to 7.5.5.

In my case the server's logfile was pointing me to install MP3::Info, which I did. Now the plugin loads correctly.
