Lineup notes: Chemical Brothers is a DJ set, The Orb is a Live set, Groove Armada is a DJ set, Crystal Method is a LIVE set, Zizek Club (AKA Zizek) is a touring group of three DJs-Fauna, El G & Douster, Para One is a Live Set, Henry Rollins will be spoken word & Shepard Fairey will be djing.

*10.6.08: Dates for Coachella ‘09 revealed, Buraka Som Sistema confirmed by Goldenvoice blog
*1.27.09: Lineup was to be announced on Kevin and Bean’s morning show (KROQ) at 7:20AM PST. They revealed that the line-up announcement has been postponed.
*1.30.09A: Lineup posted at Coachella.com between 12-1AM.
*1.30.09B: Tickets go on sale at 9AM Tickets here
*2.10.09 Jenny Lewis moved from Sunday to Saturday
*2.24.09 The Murder City Devils were added to Sunday
*3.9.09 The Bomb Squad, Devendra Banhart, Flying Lotus, The Professionals, Kode9, 6BLOCC, Daddy Kev, The Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Daedulus, Etienne de Crécy, Nocando, Busy P, Plump DJs, The Gaslamp Killer VS DLX, Ras G & Samiyam and MC Kemst added to the lineup. Adds were released through a new Zine called Coachella Digital. Download yours here. Also, Amy Winehouse cancelled.
