La 15ª edición de Sónar, que este año se celebrará el 19, 20 y 21 de junio, asienta su programación sobre dos ejes principales: el “factor femenino” en la música de nuestros días y el “bastardismo” como fruto del cruce de géneros y subgéneros musicales.


Destacadísima presencia de mujeres en el cartel. Divas indiscutibles del pop moderno como Goldfrapp o Róisín Murphy contrastan con el glamour combativo y multicutural de M.I.A. o la alquimia vocal de Camille, nueva musa de la “chanson française”.

Primeras figuras de imposible etiquetaje como Justice, Yelle, Diplo, Spank Rock o Boys Noize inyectan al programa de este año dosis masivas de energía de bastarda y exhibición orgullosa del ‘Do It Yourself’.

Lugar de encuentros y reencuentros. Dos fugaces pero míticos dúos se reencuentran en Sónar: Yazoo, leyendas del pop sintético, y Mike Banks junto a Jeff Mills, la génesis de Underground Resistance.

En clave contemporánea, Jamie Cullum y su hermano Ben Cullum se alían con el ex–Underworld Darren Emerson para crear BC vs JC featuring Darren Emerson.

Los colaboradores y protegidos de Kanye West, A-TraK y Kid Sister, combinan platos y rimas con el nuevo fenómeno Dj Mehdi.

    Minus were...i can't think of the exact words! I lost my mind with Daedelus... The presentation of X-102 was incredible but i would rather if they didn't keep such a straight face (although it's their style...) Thank you Barcelona... Once again!

    X-102 were fantastic (when it eventually got started), it seemed a lot of people were expecting a straight Mills set rather than a special show covering the album.

    Ricardo and Dubfire best by far. and of course m_nus. Madness were a great laugh and with rather apt tunes! jeff was a waste of time and yes we needed more power in the pub! good shit but not as rockin' as previous years. bring on next year!
