Portishead are to be the next curators and will be performing exclusively at All Tomorrow’s Parties, Nightmare Before Christmas in December 2007.

They will be playing their first full live set featuring new material in nearly 10 years at the event which is set for December 7, 8 & 9 at Butlins Holiday Camp at Minehead.

« We have always loved the All Tomorrow’s Parties set up and we’re happy our first shows will be there. It’s great to have the opportunity to introduce bands we love or have influenced us. We’ve chosen a diverse collection of artists to play with us and we’re really looking forward to it »

The tickets are priced between £130 – £150 per person, and include 3 nights accommodation. Tickets cannot be bought individually – only as part of a 2,3,4,5,6 or 7 berth chalet. See FAQ’s section for more information

    I went to go into reds one night, the door man asked are you drunk? yes I replied, not even thinking, are you drunk? he asked again, very! I replied, he told me to go away then never have I been to a festival before where you aren't aloud to drunk, isn't that kind of the point? I got in 10 mins later by putting my hair back and my coat on, tossers!

    Phew. I've just got my breath back after ATP: The Nightmare Before Christmas. Oh what a weekend! For most of my chalet it was our second ATP and this one was every bit as good as the one in May.     Great stuff. Portishead absolutely AMAZING, truly humble people and brilliant musicians. Rare to go to a festival where the rudest people are the staff, but what more can you expect from truly enlightened music fans ;)
