Sun 3 Jul – Prince at Hop Farm Festival
Great festival, although it was a strange crowd. Im guessing a combo of £80 to get in and the randomness of the acts including Eliza Doolittle, Tinie Tempah, Grand central and Prince made that happen. Also, Prince played loads of other people's tracks. I can understand if you are a new artist with one album but christ, he had plenty to choose from.
It felt more like a jam session than a headline performance, which meant it didnt quite lift me up to much. Plus it was a Sunday and I had to then trek back to central London at 2am.
Overall though was good, but unless there was another serious headliner next year doubt I would go back.
