Now going in to its fourth year, 2010 saw us in what can only be described as the most amazing festival location ever imagined and we are glad to be returning there in 2011. Fort Punta Christo is an abandoned fort built in the eighteen hundreds that looks like something from a lost world.
Located on a peninsular surrounded by the ocean just across the bay from Pula, the venue is the perfect destination for sun soaked daytime beach parties and on the water boat parties. When the sun sets and the soundsystems up at the Fort begin to rumble the festival turns into an entirely different beast.

Risingson Absolutely crazy festival. Best lineup ever, sound which was never less than amazing, A HELL to get there, HORRIBLE dust and stones, and a very very young audience, I felt like the grandfather of all of them there. That smell of pure shit, that rat cage that was the Dungeon, and those things called MCs that you english people love so much but us spanish people hate with all our soul (shut up! I want to hear the tune, not you!) are nothing compared to experiences like the boat parties or the rain falling on George Fitzgerald and Scuba. Now, I feel like I was invited to a party I wasn't supposed to go, but the audience was very nice - though very very drunk - and you beautiful young people always welcome with smiles. Nice.
