SESSIONS IN THE SUMMERTIME…
This summer sees the very first Serpentine Sessions to be held in the prestigious Hyde Park. Regina Spektor, Bon Iver and Tindersticks are to headline this unique and intimate series of concerts on 29 June, 30 June and 1 July. Each event will take place in a specially designed area in the royal park. Unlike other London outdoor events, these concerts will be very intimate, as there is a capacity of just 3000 per night so tickets will be limited.
Serpentine Sessions were created to support unique, visionary artists and allow concertgoers to enjoy prestigious acts in a stunning location where the focus is the music.
More exciting acts will be announced soon, including the main stage support, and the three acoustic acts per night, who will be playing on the smaller bandstand stage. All bands are playing at different times, so concert-goers have the chance to see every act playing.

Bon Iver was amazing!!!! it was such a great gig! love the part when everyone sang during The Wolves. he sounds so great live. his music is so beautiful. and i love the fact that he actually came on early to perform!

THe best gig I've been to in 35 years. Regina was totally awesome and i've never seen an audiance so involved and appreciative. I think she was blown away by the reception she got. Great to hear all the stuff from previous albums as well.

beastie_clyro i think that sounds pretty accurate - i think she might have done poor little rich boy later though? will definitely be making an itunes playlist out of those tracks, amazing set, and such a surprisingly small venue. we could see her perfectly. i thought she looked so cute and small with her guitar. so impressed she played obscure songs like bobbing for apples. loved it

amazing tonight. i do kinda wish she let out 80s dance anthem but everything was just perfect. poor little rich boy was so intense. so was apres moi and Us, well if i keep listing ill end up listing the whole damn thing. new songs were amazing.

That was just amazing! She is so amazingly talented... One of the best gigs in ages. Shame she didn't play Consequence Of Sound though but that's not a complaint. Loved it!
