I feel like i wasnt ready for this experience, just like my first sexual experience. I wish I had a second chance with MBV though. I just was not ready, it was beautiful and all, I just could grasp it, I need another try.

Certainly. There are plenty of better possibilities for opening bands. But it's over, it was amazing anyway, so it's all good.

If Kurt's band The Lily's would've played, I would've enjoyed the opening sets more.

Josh Pearson playing Only Shallow was kind of a lame move I thought. I was really embarressed for him by that point. When he first came out on stage my friend Corey joked "Is that Vincent Gallo?" I gave him a dollar for being so funny. Both opening acts had fake-out endings to a lot of their songs. You would think they were done, the audience would applaud and then they would finish the song. That got really tiresome for me. I thought when one of Kurt Easley's strings broke that he would stop playing, but instead he chose to play 3 more songs. At least he had good banter in betwixt his yawn-inducing 6 minute tracks.

A longer MBV set would have been really, really nice. It seemed like a lot of time was wasted with opening bands. Really, can anyone open for MBV and justify themselves? I personally would be incredibly embarassed with myself. If MBV were to come back to Dallas, I would probably cry from overwhelming joy.

Never Say Goodbye is one of my favorites. I would've loved to have seen them play What You Want, Sueisfine, No More Sorry, or Off Your Face. I hope they come back to Dallas..

oh man! yes, Honey Power would have been amazing to hear, (chaserrr, your other suggestions would have been perfect as well). I also would have preferred a longer MBV set.

I'd like to point out that Debbie was wearing a Threadless shirt. Which I once almost owned as well. =/ http://www.typetees.com/product/1467/Rock_is_dead_and_paper_killed_it?=
