On Monday, October 20, 2008, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF), Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), and Friends in Deed will present a special benefit event, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, exactly 35 years after the classic double album was released in the USA.

Range341 Damn it..I would have loved to have gone to this show. Just found out about it while I was reading a news article yesterday.

srapp Just left the show. We are loyal fans have seen him every tour through NYC for past 20 plus years and are supporters of the charities. I paid $1000 for 2 balcony seats. If Elton called and asked for $ I'd give him $2000 for the charities. This was a mediocre broadway review (admittedly with several highlights) Elton came out an sang 2 of thelast 3 songs. Played piano on all three. Didn't pay $1000 for a broadway review. Paid it to see Elton and support his charities. You can't trade on your name like this and deceive your fans. It's unconsionable! You won't get away with this twice and you've diminished your value in the eyes of your 35+ year fans. Very poor judgement.

ELTONJOHN1949 it would be amazin to go but everytime i try and get tickets for anyhting to do with Elton there always sold out. I need to be quicker!!!
