• Fleet Foxes are Burt's Bees's Knees

    Red. Curtains. Chandeliers. Why, we are at the El Rey Theater! If you have not been yet, it’s a great venue and architecturally, a must-see. It was a nice back drop for Seattle-based male quintet, Fleet Foxes, who debuted for two nights at the El Rey. And both nights were sold-out! That’s quite impressive. If that can’t attest to their increasing popularity, then I don’t know what will. They have a number of sold-out shows across the nation before they embark on a European tour and ending up in Australia before the year is over. They’re #11 on the UK chart!

    So, what’s the deal with Fleet Foxes anyway? Well, besides being big fans of Burt’s Bees products and being comedians on stage, Fleet Foxes are great harmonizers. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Robin Pecknold, is backed by his band members in a collaboration that would parallel a church gospel.
