Last year, folk singer and scholar Fay Hield was invited to assemble a group of stellar musicians in order to record The Full English album, with material based on a new EFDSS digital archive of folk music and related materials. The line-up included Fay, traditional singer and fiddle player Nancy Kerr, boundary-crossing, award-winning singer/songwriter Seth Lakeman, internationally renowned guitarist Martin Simpson, double bassist of choice Ben Nicolls, and two of the most dazzling, in-demand multi-instrumentalists playing today, Rob Harbron and Sam Sweeney.
