Caravan of Thieves

On Friday, February 24, the me&thee welcomes back two acts who took our stage by storm and who wowed the audience and volunteers alike. The Caravan of Thieves, a completely zany group, brings a touch of vaudeville, over-the-top theatricality; performance art and an all-but-the-kitchen sink collection of percussion utensils (and a hubcap) to their brand of gypsy swing music. Think Three Stooges with a sexy sidekick and musical skills. Heather Maloney opens the show. She is touring in support of her second album Time & Pocket Change. As a new songwriter, there is already an abundance of press response, calling her lyrics « Terrific » (Huffington Post), « Poignant » (Portsmouth Herald), and « Powerful » (Rochester City News). Doors open at 7:30 PM for this 8:00 PM show at the me&thee coffeehouse which is located at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead at 28 Mugford Street.
