Laura-Mary Carter und Steven Ansell aka Blood Red Shoes sind zurück! Nach Box Of Secrets (2008) und Fire Like This (2010) folgt nun das dritte Studioalbum des Duos aus Brighton. In Time To Voices wurde im Motor Museum in Liverpool zusammen mit Produzent Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Tribes) aufgenommen und umfasst elf neue Songs. Eines steht bereits jetzt fest: Es ist das Beste in der bisherigen Diskografie von Blood Red Shoes, stellt es doch eine erstaunliche Weiterentwicklung der Band dar. Es ist ein neuer, ambitionierter Sound ohne dass das Duo dabei seine Punk Rock-Wurzeln vergisst. Vielmehr ist es eine perfekte Sinfonie aus Euphorie und Melancholie, aus Heavy Rock und klassischem Songwriting.
