Chicago-based collective Phantom Note Productions strives to “pair the best bands on a bill together…if you come out to a Phantom Note show, you know you will have a great experience in a fun environment and you won’t have to break the bank to do it.” We’re pleased to welcome them back to the Bottle with newly christened project from CASTEVET, CSTVT.
They may have lost their vowels, but the emo-punk quartet continue to deliver the anthemic songs from their blistering The Echo & the Light, an LP Exclaim praised for being “full of life and passion…another important mark on CSTVT’s map.” Combining Midwestern earnestness, layered riffage and hook-laden melodies, STAY AHEAD OF THE WEATHER have a new EP in the works, We Better Get Goin’ If We’re Gonna, which is set to be available exclusively through Facebook. Earlier this month, COPING released a split 7” with THE CLIPPERS on Topshelf Records including 125 copies on gold vinyl. AMULET (Members of Loose Lips Sink Ships, The Felix Culpa, Cut Teeth and noumenon) and DAYLIGHT round out tonight’s punk-infused Thursday.
