Massive,massive thanks to all who made Sunday night/Monday morning at Aquarium an absolutely banging event HEAVING within an hour of opening, like i said thanks to William Wintour, Jewels Hartnell, Mark Radford, Max Van Morrison, Lee Edwards … , Roch Mix Hard, Marley Jaye and the CSWS staff whose continued hard work behind the scenes to make this happen week-in, week out and of course all you guys who continue to support us cos Together Everyone Achieves More.

Anyway down to this weeks order of business…This coming Sunday we are looking forward to welcoming Dirty Byrd resident Samantha Blackburn.

We have been looking forward to SAMANTHA joining us since before X-Mas but due to illness she was unable to fulfill that commitment but she is fighting fit now and been raring to go for a longtime since.

So SAMANTHA welcome…
The wonderful DJ talent that is Samantha Blackburn…a young lady who has been setting parties alight all over London as well as alongside the wonderful Chloe Fontaine who run their own night called Dirty Byrds which has hit the ground running and their 1st party at new venue the Dollhouse last Friday night was off the hook which is of no surprise with these infectious young ladies not only as DJs but as personalities also.

SAMANTHA (aka Samantha Blackburn) is a well recognized name who really has established herself on London’s house music circuit by performing at some of London’s coolest parties such as Mooch, Zombie Sound system, Tape, Jaded as well as currently holding down an ongoing residency at the legendary Get Diverted terrace parties in Brixton as well as the a fore mentioned Dirty Byrds project.

Samantha’s expressive style behind the decks is reflective of her assorted likings of anything deep or tribal tech, always driving, her sets are soulfully balanced with melodies, rolling beats and melodic chimes reminiscent of her South African roots. Samantha knows how to please a crowd and her track selection is always nothing but excellent. This is her edge - she is something different - out of the box.

The impressive collection of DJ’s she has supported boasts some of the most respected names in house and techno music with the likes of Butch, Mr.C, Julien Chaptal and Nic Fancuilli, so as you can imagine we at CSWS Heights are very excited as we continue to promote London based artists as well as the international ones that have graced our decks.

Alongside Samantha we have the ever impressive CSWS residents with opening set provided by CSWS stalwart Maximus whose musical spectrum is vast and never fails to perform, after SAMANTHA our own musical Energy God - Mr ‘It Aint No Myth’ B3 whose return last week and opening set to a packed house on Sunday was one of many highlights and really set the tempo for the night that even got security and bar staff bouncing on their toes and to close this week is the one and only Mark Radford who continues to bring ‘THE REAL SICKNESS’ to proceedings…so excited!!
