I was only going to say pretty much exactly the same as 'helencollie' - I went to the Liverpool Cathedral gig too and I think that would've slightly ruined this gig for me, if I didn't love Marling's music so. I was also incredibly infuriated by people running in and out constantly throughout the performance and also some idiots that were singing in my row that I wanted to deck. Ah well, Marling is still wonderful!

Laura was perfect, but the crowd couldn't sit still for five fucking minutes. Is it really so hard to sit through a gig without making everyone move out the way so you go to the bar? Pfft. Anyway, the acoustics were miles better at her Liverpool Cathedral show, but this had a completely different energy. Blackberry Stone was absolutely beautiful.

Yes, me too. I think her wording was "I think you're at the wrong 'show' " ;) Laura was fab as always though I don't think the Apollo suited her as a venue...

I honestly feel like Timber Timbre played the same song 6 times. "Come on Laura, get the fucking crowd going!" "... I think you're at the wrong concert."

Timber Timbre supporting convinced me to go see her again. Her show in the Manchester Cathedral show was ace. Hopefully TT will be better than when i saw them in the Deaf Institute.
