Thurston Moore
Na zich drie decennia te hebben ingezet voor noise-rockband Sonic Youth, kiest mede-oprichter Thurston Moore met zijn soloproject voor een akoestische benadering. Moore - die volgens het Amerikaanse muziekblad Rolling Stone tot de veertig beste gitaristen aller tijden behoort - bracht in mei zijn bejubelde vierde solo-album ‘Demolished Thoughts’ uit dat werd geproduceerd door Beck. We horen Spartaanse akoestische folk, die op sommige momenten heel filmisch is. Moore wordt live begeleid door een voltallige band, inclusief violist en harpist.
