Bucharest, you rock!

The event,as seen from the third row, was splendid. To many concerts i have been and from few i came back as excited as i am now. And i'm not even that big of a fan. Anyway, Brett Anderson was energetic, and he got me in the whole brit mood. Stage presence was flawless, although many around me were absolutely still and waiting for the main event, but he didn't care, the show was great from start to finish. I remembered that i remember suede, and that was one of the high points of the evening. Waiting for Muse was the true test for me, but i aced it, as the band came out faster than i expected. Muse were great. I was overwhelmed. A muse concert, even with the sound problems a few people mentioned or other mishaps, is still nothing less than one of the best performances you'll ever see or hear. The crowd was pretty mellow, but that didn't bother me, since i try to respect the different ways in which people express themselves during concerts.

So.. I should write about what happened last night, huh? The f***in apocalypse came and struck us all! I don’t think I have enough words to describe everything that happened. Well first of all We stayed in line.. and I have to say: this was a civilized line! I mean no one pushed us like they did at the Placebo gig.. and the guards were very nice to us. They even let us out through the fences and then let us in to our same places so that we didn’t lose our place in line.. They surprised me.
Well.. now to begin.. they finally opened the gates and we went in.. I managed to get a front row seat because I got in with the small group who escaped the guards and went on the grass. The rest were caught out! Mwahha.. I know I’m mean now.. but I’m happy I managed to catch a little of Brett Anderson’s Band sound check. It was nice! And so me and my friends were front row! Everything I ever dreamed of! And so the waiting started.. and we waited and waited.. … -
Muse in Romania

incredible. amazing. breathtaking. tremendous.
have i mentioned amazing?
definitely the best concert i've ever been to. and to my amazement, also incredibly cheap. the ticket cost 65 RON (around 20 something euros) and it wasn't the cheapest available. i stood right in front of the stage. and i enjoyed every second of it.
first came Brett Anderson. i hadn't even known he was going to play here when i bought the ticket and it all would have been worth it anyway, but damn it, it was a wonderful bonus. as he came towards the mike, incredibly calm, i totally thought that he was going to just do his duty and leave. but the second he started singing, he literally gave his heart out on stage. he danced, he got down on his knees, he jumped and i could totally feel that he enjoyed being out there. i liked his solo songs but, no surprise, the Suede songs were the ones that made me (and everyone out there) scream. …
