There are some things that really should'nt change. Marathon renamed Snickers, Arsenal moving to the Emirates etc. Well add NATW becoming mainstream pop. Not so long ago Noah were at the Glee Club in Birmingham performing meaningful folk to about 80 or so punters, First Days of Spring saw them at the Rockhouse in Derby with maybe 200 in attendance. Last Night On Earth and every sixth form female (and male) is screaming at 'em. They scream when Charlie takes off his jacket or stands on the monitors. They even scream at support Emmy The (not so) Great. Charlies singing, maybe my ears, but occasionally a tad off key? The reworking of Old Joy is a highlight, as is the first day of spring encore. Five years time in its guitar led reincarnation, loses its innocence and again the claps and screams are premature during rocks and daggers. Which is perhaps what happens when the crossover is made towards a somewhat premature audience. Left me longing for a return to their form of the Glee Club.
