Let's face it: this was epic. Gorgeous venue, Sailing in the Seas of Cheese + Green Naugahyde in their entirety and Groundhogs Day + Wynona's Big Brown Beaver as encores.. So much looking forward to tonight.

Interesting. I'd prefer they would play some other album in full but Green Naugahyde is fine too. My main concern is that they would play their songs as they did on Hallucino-Genetics. Meaning every song was altered and sounded great with intro, unique solo in the middle and something new in the end. Not as they appear on the record but refreshed. Wonder why not Antipop? Anyway I'm going on both gigs and cannot wait to see how they surprise me this time. Perhaps they'll record this shows in order to release them on DVD? I wish ;)

overview

They'll do 2 sets - first will be a mixture from albums past (but not Antipop, natch), second will be Green Naugahyde in full, then an encore. I expect they'll play GN in full both nights, with the first set and the entire being totally different.

I read somewhere that the shows are being billed as "An Evening With Primus" so I reckon we'll get something similar to Hallucino-Genetics. Two Sets etc. Cannot wait, Brixton was one of the best nights of my life.
