Yeah, would have loved to have seen them at the Astor but that wouldn't have been overly practical considering the demand. Show was spectacular though. They went sooo much harder than I expected. The guitarist on Berninger's right was absolutely insane.

show of the year still remains touche amore and title fight earlier this year... Venue was bad setup wise, some places were a bit awkward to watch from. I dunno, I like smaller venues...

Agreed SHOW OF THE YEAR and this has been a big year. Only caught the tail end of The Walkmen sounded a bit average, but The National absolutely smashed it. I thought the venue was fine; good sound.
