Whatever you think of Rise Against there is no doubt that they have the ability to send a crowd into ecstasy. The band is on form, their playing is as tight as it has ever has been, and the atmosphere they stir up is something to behold.
It’ll come as no surprise to hear that the setlist was recent album dominated with little for older fans on paper, but with the strong Endgame material taking the strain from the weaker Appeal To Reason tracks, the eighteen song strong set list even for a relatively ‘hardcore fan’, and I hate myself for using the term, like myself, can go home satisfied. Architects and Make It Stop are superb songs live and with old favourites like Heaven Knows and the brilliant Give It All included what is there to hate?
