Anouar Brahem s’est imposé comme un des musiciens les plus atypiques et les plus prestigieux du label ECM. Pour clore en beauté ces trois magnifiques soirées, le Festival présente son plus récent projet, The Astounding Eyes of Rita, un album dédié au grand poète palestinien Mahmoud Darwish, disparu en 2008. Composé comme une danse sinueuse aux sonorités sombres et aux fortes mélodies, l’oeuvre est portée par de brillants musiciens.

Anouar Brahem established himself as one of the most atypical and prestigious artists on the ECM label. For a perfect close to these three magnificent evenings, the Festival presents his most recent project, The Astounding Eyes of Rita, an album dedicated to the great Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, who died in 2008. Composed as a sinuous dance of somber tones and strong melodies, it is handled by a group of brilliant musicians.
