Garage rock legends The Sonics split up over 40 years ago, but their influence reverberated through The Stooges, The MC5, Nirvana, The Fall and more. Arguably one of the defining bands of the post-punk era, Wire produced an unorthodox, sonically expansive body of art-rock between 1977 and the present day, influencing Manic Street Preachers, R.E.M and The Cure along the way.


Now reformed, The Sonics bring their amp-busting, primal rock & roll together with the subversively brilliant experimentalism of Wire to Royal Festival Hall.
