Sat 14 May – Usher, Akon, Dev, The Cataracs
Just my opinions...
I'm glad my friend offered me a ticket for free. Akon was fun, jumpy, great opening... The best part of Usher's performance was his Michael Jackson tribute that I wished had gone on longer to hear some actually good/danceable music.
The most entertaining (not best, just interesting really) was watching the dramatic scene unfold in our row when a girl was so drunk she passed out, and was eventually carried out by two men by her legs and arms out of our row and the building. Think she vomited too. YUCK!
Also, the incredibly awkward (and I'm no prude) grind session with the female from the audience was unnecessary or at least a bit overdone. Albeit, the female herself was clearly ready to do whatever she could get away with legally on the stage with Usher, but still it was a bit much.
I've finally started getting around to check out the local (and free to $20) music scene in Toronto the past 5-6 mths…
