pauladaunt Hmmm... I'm glad you can enjoy your night with a rubbish sound system. I wish I was like you. I'm quite sensitive to sound and although I've seen truly amazing people at Icon, that screaming mid range is painful to my ears. They are very good at choosing people, but the music they play before these people is uncomfortably different from the headliners' style, if you know what I mean. No, it's not ok to steal things from the cloakroom. I really don't think so. I've been going out for thousands of years in quite a few countries, including poor ones, and that has never happened. I think they should, at least, apologize. If they don't I'll continue to post enlightened messages to their events. Word.

faulancer think so as well. of course it isn't such a wonderful thing, if an expensive hat like that get lost, but a tragedy like this could happen in each other club as well. additionally: ok... the sound system is pretty rubbish, but trust me... I experienced several unbelievable nights in the club, where also the sound pushed me to the next level. oh and finally: yes the clothes are smelling like a cigarette after the gigs, but hey.. certainly i got bigger problems after a gig than that, e.g. how to get home, the struggle against the tiredness... and so on!

A very expensive hat was taken from my coat pocket inside Icon's cloakroom. I complained right away but they "couldn't find it". They asked for my number but never called me back. I tried calling the venue a few times this week, and even left a message but nobody called me back. Just letting you know you should keep your dearest belongings with you cos the cloakroom is not reliable and they won't take responsibility for their own actions. Not to mention your coat will surely stink of cigarettes. Sound system is pretty rubbish, too.
