Not being a huge fan of the band, 30 Seconds to Mars, I decided that watching the concert from the general admission is going to be quite good. To my surprise, the arena was divided in two where the GA was a little bit too far from the stage. It was hard to have a good view of the stage when being short. The place was packed with teenagers, underage drinking, PDA, and the worst security team of all time. The security's mission was to make sure no one was sitting on anyone's shoulders, which is/was a buzz kill to many of the fans.
Few songs into the concert, the organizing team scattered into the GA area and started handing out Fan Pit wrist bands and people were able to see the band from up close & I was one of them. Right then and there it felt like I was in a real concert, watching a real band playing, and found myself enjoying the band's music more than ever. The lightning effects were great.
