Stonethrown (Rock / Indie): “Stonethrown’s songwriting is sharp and innovative. The production is engaging. The vocals are emotionally direct. Check out their myspace page for a list of influences that include a who’s who of 90s and 00s Britpop, as well as Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, etc…–and you’ll hear traces throughout these tracks, but what’s most notable is the convergence of strong musical wills to form something even stronger: A unique voice. “

Exit Clov (Indie / Pop / Rock): Kicking it since 2003, Exit Clov released two albums in 2010 including their debut LP Memento
Mori. The band’s DC-charged Post Punk sound spans an exploratory New Wave style. “Kaleidoscope Pop Noir” is a fitting description that’s stuck over the years, where in-concert the five-piece strives for a sonic binge to transcend each wistful hook.

SugrHi (Rock / Alternative / Powerpop): SugrHi is an all girl Alt-Rock power trio based out of Philadelphia that was founded by the Fox sisters. They’ve been rocking venues since 2003 with the inception of their self titled indie album and helping many acquire a taste for honest to goodness female rock n roll. Their next goal is to take on the world with the release of their newest single, “Sick of It” (M31 Productions).

Eighteenth Hour (Alternative / Rock / Pop): While the term rock band might sound one-dimensional in today’s music industry, taking the time to listen to Eighteenth Hour’s wide range of rock songwriting on their latest CD Chasing the Following puts that misconception to rest. Eighteenth Hour’s accomplishments include winning numerous Lehigh Valley Music Awards including “Best Rock CD” and “Best Original Band”, receiving “5 out of 5 stars” for the “Shine” CD review and “Best Original Band” in the Reader’s Choice Poll of Pulse Weekly Magazine, being named “Best Band” in the Lehigh Valley Magazine’s Best of The Valley Poll, and being the RECORD HOLDER for 17 consecutive days at #1 on vMRadio’s “Top 10 at 10” chart.

Super Consumers (Rock / Alternative): “This local five-piece is a radio-ready anthem factory that only seems subversive when you pay attention to the lyrics… Are Super Consumers smuggling social critique in modern-rock clothing?” – Doug Wallen, Philadelphia Weekly “Super Consumers have a moody yet enjoyable sound. Ron’s intelligent lyrics weave into catchy melodies, and he sings with an intensity that perfectly fits the subject matter. Bottom line, these guys put out a great EP. I highly recommend it.” – Michael Harmon, Studio Crash “While are an alternative rock band, they manage a decent balance between genres. They still totally rock out with awesome guitar melodies but the beats and vocal harmonizing give it a more mellow, thoughtful feel.” – Hanna Baradja, Hot Generation
