28 & 29 May 2010! Two spectacular shows in London to celebrate David’s birthday as well as 25 years of Current 93

Tickets cost £35 a night, with a weekend ticket for £60 (limited numbers).

NURSE WITH WOUND: www.myspace.com/babssantini are C93’s special guests on Friday 28 May. This is the first time that C93 & NWW have ever played together on stage. C93 and NWW have had an intimate relationship since David Tibet first met Steven Stapleton as an awe-struck fan in 1983, and Steven was one of the first members of C93 and has remained an integral part of the group since, whilst Steven also asked David to join NWW for the ‘Ostranenie 1913’ album, and David continues to be a formless, free-floating member of NWW up till the present, contributing vocals to the most recent NWW album ‘The Surveillance Lounge’.

    Think you might be right there L654-12. Tibet might have given her some coaching, as she was far less annoying on the 29th. She sang complete sentences now, instead of just parroting the last words of every third line, and the volume on the microphone was cut back drastically. The dancing might been narcoleptic, but it was horrid all the same.

    I agree, the girl was absolutely amateurish. She kept making silly movements. She kept singing 'emotionally'. She kept looking at Mr Tibet all the time. At one time on 28th I thought I saw Mr Tibet on scene being very much annoyed with her. But I have no proof to that, of course.

    she was fine in the tracks where she was actually supposed to thing (the baalstorm tracks and the few tracks that actually had a female part). the just-stress-every-third-or-so-line thing that she did with all the other current tracks was horrible imho. not so much horrible singing on her part but horrible arrangement of the tracks.

    That c93 concert was a perfect example of how women can ruin anything. Who the hell thought it was a good idea just to have her unmotivated stressing every third line or something?

    Underwhelming. Enjoyed Simon Finn, expected more from NWW, C93 proficient but uninspiring. The gf enjoyed them though. 2nd row tickets were a mistake thanks to incessant camera clicking. I hate photographers.

    C93 a bit lacklustre. Maybe they were keeping their powder dry for the next night. NWW were really boring for 40 minutes, then quite interesting for 10.
