ariich What was wrong with the Friday show? The only issue I had with the sound was that one of the vocalist's mics was a bit too quiet, but I thought everything else sounded great! I guess it depends on where you stand, but it sounded wonderful from where I was, and the setlist was incredible as well!

loveazazel Saturday show was near Perfection, like Phenix rising from Friday show... (technical difficulties??). thank god that i saw both, if not i was one sad bunny for Friday show.. anyway, 2nights of shpongling and after parties in strange town London with bunch of nice strangers were difenetely one of kind experience EVER!!!. there is nothing better than dance my heart out till sun comes out with great music! thank you all new people who took me in and made me at home on dance floor! from dancing fool :) see you again shponglia!

BlackOctagon Wow, I travelled all the way to the UK to see them. I've been obsessed with Shpongle for years, and still love them. But I have to say, their live show on Friday night was really disappointing. It was like a concert, so they were simply trying to 'play' the songs from the CDs. No remixing, no improvisation, nothing new, just the songs. And after the audio perfection that is the albums, their live sound comes up really short. There were plenty of munted people saying "WHOA!!! AWESOME!!!" after the show, but I felt that most people in the crowd felt just like me. Few (straight) people were really getting into it, and I suspect that they too felt that the show was a pale imitation of the studio sound. Sorry to be a downer, but for me this is the honest truth.
