So Lakewood worked out pretty well, except for the rain. Then again, a friend of mine who went to Aberdeen said they had hail, so I guess rain was better than that. I was treated to a VIP free beer and burger tent--which is a fringe benefit of going to a local ballpark, I guess. I was up in the picnic area when Willie was on, and the sound was terribly low...it was apparently not much better on the field. Mellencamp did what he does and I was actually surprised by how good his set actually turned out to be.
